Australia batter Travis Head is the no.1 ranked T20 batter in the ICC rankings. The opening batter recently surpassed Suryakumar Yadav to claim the top spot in the rankings after his heroics in the T20 World Cup 2024. The southpaw was at his best in the entire tournament and helped his team in many games.
Travis Head is at the top of the ICC rankings with 844 ratings to his name. This is also his career-best ranking in the T20I cricket. Following him is India batter Suryakumar Yadav, who held the top position for more than one year. The batter is the second-ranked T20I batter with 821 rankings. His career-best ratings were 910, which he achieved after the match against New Zealand in Ranchi 2023.
England batter Phil Salt is ranked No.3 in the batsmen ranking. The opening batter has been nothing short of exceptional in the format and is one of the main reasons behind the success of the team. He is there at No.3 with ratings of 797. His highest rating was 833 which came against West Indies.
The Pakistan duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are currently ranked No.4 and No.5 on the ICC rankings for the batters in the T20I with 755 and 746 rating points respectively. Since the past few years have maintained their positions in the top 10 and are the backbone of the team in the format.

The right-hander has slammed 1292 runs in the history of the tournament at an average of over 58 and a strike rate of around 130. His Indian teammate Rohit Sharma is second on the table with 1220 runs to his name at an average of over 35 and a strike rate of over 133. Mahela Jayawardene scored 1016 runs in 31 matches.
